I brought this because it was smaller then my other ring theft box. But it was easy to set up and place on my door and my camera did work okay on detection. However, it does cut some of the distance of the camera off. The screws are defective and the company should use different screws. It took 1 hour to get the small tiny defective screw out. Also my bigger theft box protects my ring camera from snow & rain. This box doesn't and water from the rain got in and my ring camera is now broken because of water damage. I personally wouldn't recommend this product until they change the screws and make sure there are no spaces for water to get in, and to make better screws that can become easily defective .
