3 stars but maybe I shouldn't. I soaked them for at least 3 hours, turned on the grill, preheated, lowered the heat to medium, placed the planks on the grill, added the salmon and shrimp, and in under 3 minutes all I could hear was one Click! Click. Crack. I opened the grill lid and two good planks of wood caught fire and really burned. I took them off the grill and threw them into my fire pit and watched them burn completely to the ground. So 3 stars because I might have done something wrong, but can't you see what I did?!? Based on all the 5 star reviews I must be very unwise or these boards are awful I'll leave it to you to decide.
