If you don't want to use an auxiliary power supply/cigarette lighter for your power source and are comfortable enough to pierce your car's skin and fabric, this is a great way to upgrade the camera to be connected to the electrical power supply of the car. I have wired previous machines in the old fashioned and difficult way, it was a new and wonderful development of this task. Everything I needed was included, plus a few things I just had to choose the parts that suited my needs. That makes life a lot easier.
