I love Katy and the birds love this delicious seed mix BUT I've noticed it contains "artificial cherry flavor". I wouldn't eat artificially flavored foods myself, so why would I feed them to my wild birds? This is NOT NATURAL. If the seed was that good enough, why did it need a flavor enhancer? I went through all the varieties of wild Kaytee seeds and found 2 that do not contain cherry flavor: 1. peanuts, 2. sunflower chips/hearts. Now I buy seeds from other brands that don't have additives and mix them together in my feeder. Also, the price is much lower in another "pet store” where you can use coupons and also get free shipping. and I also find the seeds "from there" fresher than the seeds I got from Revane.
