I don't like reviews that don't provide definitive results because, like most of you, I'm very short on time. Suffice it to say that the main benefit of this thing is local storage and nothing more. Unfortunately, that doesn't matter either, as the camera needs an internet connection to connect to the security server just to access your local storage. Render this thing useless as without it you will NOT be able to access videos stored on your local storage. In short, there is no good reason for them to buy a doorbell or other doorbell cameras. Also, the video footage doesn't look like 1080p at all, let alone 2k. I could go on and on about things like motion detection and night vision video quality, but that still wouldn't make this thing a worthwhile buy. Not being able to access local storage without online security authentication is a deal breaker. That's all that counts. Gone to reevaluate the ring and others. You need to select something else if you want to buy this for local storage. You have been warned!
