I have never worn chaps, but with the winter weather coming up I decided to give them a try. I searched all over for reviews, designs, etc. and Leatherups chaps came highly recommended. First, the leather is very soft and thick - an absolute necesity for motorcycles chaps - which gives protection from cold wind and possible road rash. Their sizing is spot on, order the size pants you normally wear and you will have plenty of room. The legs come extra long with several snaps so you can trim them to your size and still have at least 2 snaps on either side. They have elastic on the inseam so you they will adjust to even large thighs.So far I can't find anything I don't like about them. Quality and fit are excellent. I can't see why you would pay $200 for other chaps as I can't imagine what else they would offer.
