Review on Shark RV2001 Navigation Self Cleaning Brushroll by Michelle Lopez

After owning and testing this Shark Robotic Vacuum Cleaner for 3 days I have put together my final thoughts on this product. Pros: Smart mapping is an advertised feature that actually works as intended. He mapped my house accurately on the first try and estimated a relatively accurate square footage. The Forbidden and Heavy Traffic zoning feature also works as advertised, eliminating any bumps and bumps against walls. or objects that my previous Shark robot (RV750) would have made. Sending the vacuum cleaner to the dock is another feature of this robot that beats my previous robot as it finds its home every time. Auto docking also works a million times better than the RV750 as it never had any docking issues unlike my previous model. Also, sending a vacuum to clean a specific room really works, and I was really surprised at how well it responded to the command. Battery life is excellent even at the highest power setting. A full trip with gear number "2" takes about 90 minutes. I would imagine that normal and eco power levels would last even longer. Finally, the included accessories are a big plus. I appreciate the added bonus of the extra set of brushes and filters. Cons: While it cleans both hard surfaces and rugs/rugs well, this robot vacuum is VERY noisy. I'm not sure if it's normal to run so loud or if it's just part of the upgraded motor, but it's a really distracting noise when trying to relax and let the robot do the cleaning. Smart mapping works as advertised. and exactly mapped my house, it's about the fact that a vacuum robot with such a price tag is still working on its own docking station. Perhaps this issue can be addressed with a future update that instructs the vacuum cleaner to avoid bumping and attempting to clean over the dock. Finally, work still needs to be done on the app to control this vacuum robot. The functionality of the Shark Clean app is still sluggish after many updates over the last year, and I still have issues where the app takes a while to update the current state of the vacuum cleaners (happens 1/3 of the time).
