I bought this bubbler for my 5 gallon tank and it works fantastic! Exactly what I needed. This product comes as advertised. It comes with an air pump, hose and air stones. Air Stones deliver a large volume of air to provide plenty of oxygen to the water, and the stones are also weighted so they sink to the bottom of the tank. The only thing not included with the aerator, but also required, is a check valve, which prevents aquarium water from flowing back into the air pump and causing water damage and possible electric shock if a plug or extension cord is present. Wire or something else electrical nearby. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND PURCHASING A ONE WAY CHECK VALVE AS IT IS NOT INCLUDED! This bubbler is very good for small aquariums, but I'm not sure how well it works for LARGE AQUARIUMS, so I recommend this product for 5 and 10 gallon aquariums.
