Bought these to replace some old VTech phones and they are working very well so far. They're just a little chunky, but for the price I can handle it. The most important thing we need is a good speakerphone. When my Air Force son calls home every week, we put him on speakerphone so he can talk to the whole family at the same time. These speakerphones are good, clear and loud, making our conversations a lot easier (and longer - haha). The base unit looks very clean and I love how the phones update automatically (e.g. delete missed calls on one and they'll be deleted on all). All in all, these are solid cordless phones at a good price. They might not have some of the newfangled features like Bluetooth compatibility or a charging port for your cellphone, but they do have all the standard bells and whistles (caller ID, directory, answering machine, voicemail compatibility, the ability to customize ringtones, etc.). d.). and work fine.
