Type of review

The phones were fine when they were working but the line dropped several times a day . If I unplugged the base station for more than 15 seconds, I was able to restart the phone and it worked until the next time. I returned the phones and received a prompt refund from Revain before they even received the phones. Revain's customer support is exceptional. I bought another model from AT&T and no problem.

  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

A piece of junk. to landline

I am very disappointed with this AT&T device. The messages are not clear at all and cannot be understood. I've tried setting up what I was able to do according to the instructions but nothing seems to work. Clarity on the phone is not what I expected from this company. I need to reorder from another supplier to understand the messages. I think I wasted my money on this machine. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who has a hard time getting to the phone faster when sick. If it's recorded, you'll…

Great phones with big buttons

I recently ordered these phones for my elderly mother as her hearing and vision are not what they used to be. She couldn't be happier with these AT&T phones as the buttons are larger than usual, backlit and the speakerphone is very easy for my mom to use. They are also very comfortable to hold and I personally love the look of them. I wish I had ordered these phones years ago as we have endured crackling phones that broke too quickly. All I can say is that these phones are a great choice for…

Excellent speakerphone - our #1 requirement

Bought these to replace some old VTech phones and they are working very well so far. They're just a little chunky, but for the price I can handle it. The most important thing we need is a good speakerphone. When my Air Force son calls home every week, we put him on speakerphone so he can talk to the whole family at the same time. These speakerphones are good, clear and loud, making our conversations a lot easier (and longer - haha). The base unit looks very clean and I love how the phones…

Fully working on landline phones

phones are fully working but very unstable if you want to use hands free, carry your phone around and stand upright on a flat surface. Even on a slightly slanted surface, you can't install it, and on a flat surface, you need to take your time to install it carefully. The most annoying thing about this phone is the touch noise when pressing a number on the keyboard. There is a delay when pressing a number - when you call your bank and they ask you to enter an account number (I have 9 digits) the

Fortunately, I remembered the complaints about this phone.

I am writing this review in response to the reviews I read before purchasing this product. Let me say right away to all DSL users that you can solve the static problem by purchasing a DSL phone filter jack. Ok, back to my review. I previously had an AT&T Dect 6.0 answering machine, so I decided to buy another one after the original started to fail. Fortunately, the previous system has lasted for many years. When I got and installed the new system, there was interference every time I picked up…

Liked the clean look

Had to return this system. I really wanted to find an acceptable one, I liked the clean look and the price for an additional stationary house, but after a month the poor quality just became unbearable and I had to go back and look for something else. One or two handsets didn't work at all, I kept being told they couldn't hear or understand me (and I was standing right next to the base!), and even a couple of times when I was on the phone, the person on the other end who answering my call kept…

It's a good phone, but nothing special

To be honest I really don't know why we keep this landline number other than to try to give spammers a purpose so they don't block our phones. I like the feature that allows you to set up a call to automatically go to V-mail after the second ring. But I wish it was even better if it offered the ability to list up to 50 common phone numbers we know and then just send the rest to V-Mail without bothering us. Then we could check out a few regular V-mails (scammers don't usually leave V-mails) and…

After using it for a while I changed my rating from 3 to 1.

The following is my first assessment shortly after purchasing this set: Not entirely satisfied but partially satisfied at the time but the longer I use it the more awful it seems to me. There are intermittent moments where the background hiss and hiss is much worse than other times, and sometimes weird screeching noises bleed through the conversation, something I thought shouldn't have happened with DECT 6.0 and my other similar devices didn't happen. In addition, the body of the phone itself…
