We took two on a treasure wagon for our kids to replace old Samsung 7 inch tablets. I wasn't expecting more than the Tab A to be honest, but I really like it! They automatically come with 32g of storage, which is great for downloading many games and apps that take up storage space. Add an SD card and you'll be golden for a while. In particular, it was a messaging app that allows us to video chat with the whole family of 4. - Tablets have no delay even with 4 videos at the same time and show a clear picture with the front camera. And the battery lasts for what feels like an eternity - used over 4 hours on the first day on a full charge (according to the parent app we also downloaded) playing videos and games and still had over half the charge. And in terms of size, you wouldn't think that going from a 7-inch screen to an 8-inch would really make a difference, but it does. Colors are vibrant and vibrant. I can't talk about the technical stuff, but as a daily tablet for running games and watching videos, web browsing, and video chatting, it's really great. I will go back and buy another one to replace my old Nook.
