Review on Lichamp Manifold Refrigerants Charging Evacuation by Brandon Daughenbaugh

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It works well for the money.

The first sample I received had a problem and was dripping from a small glass window but the seller or Revain simply accepted the return with no questions asked and sent a replacement within 2 days. So thank them for that. The second sample worked perfectly and was used to charge a block of flats with an r410a water heat pump. Gauges are easy to read, decent gloves are included, hoses look ok and all knobs turn. smooth. Haven't used the car adapters yet but the markings on the handles seem to be marked in the opposite direction except they appear to be of good quality. Screw all the way into the service ports and manifold, not as smooth as the others I've seen in YouTube videos. tight enough that I leaked a little more refrigerant than expected. I had to use pliers to grab it and screw it tight enough. I suggest breaking the threads before first use by tugging them back and forth a few times. I did that and things have improved a bit, but the high side ports still need pliers to tighten them. However, once tightened, the hoses don't leak at all and the distributor works as it should, the handles are really smooth and allow you to use them accurately. There is also a vent valve on the yellow/supply line to allow air to be released prior to charging the refrigerant. I have used this kit once to charge R410a refrigerant and another time to inject sealant and chemicals to remove any possible moisture from the system. I would say for less than $60 plus a bottle of refrigerant it was a good investment as I could service my AC without having to rely on HVAC technicians which are very expensive in NYC (it would have cost me around $650 ). ) and generally don't maintain your system properly so they may come back soon and try to sell you a new unit if they don't need to.
