Silicone test lead is quite flexible but not as flexible as higher quality leads. Other than that I am very happy with the tips of the wire probes and the length of the wires. The probes are extremely sharp like needles and easily penetrate wire insulation. They are gold plated and screw into the probe holders for a secure connection. The gold plating seems redundant as the gold wears down the tip within a probe or two into the wire, but it makes it much easier to check the wires without having to find the end of the connector to check. The rest of the probe instruments are attached by screwing onto the adapter tips and then sliding onto the optional tip you wish to use. Overall I'm happy with them and have already used them to find hot wires in various circuits in my car.
