I bought this to replace and upgrade an old exhaust on a Honda Trail 90. I used the exhaust pipe from the original exhaust system, cut it by feel and welded it into this classy package. I've also tried it both ways, with the dustpans facing the creek and the dustpans facing the draft. I went with the flow side so the sound is much quieter and smoother and I also thought it would help in putting out the spark. This little glass package is of excellent quality, looks very durable and well worth its $20 asking price. I installed a 1.5" spark arrestor blade to complete the exhaust pipe. Everything fits under the Original Equipment muffler cover and looks native. Aside from the sound and extra power, there's no telling it's been replaced. Recommend this product for repeated use. I'll probably order at least two more, I know they work great with the noisy generator I have and are also great for my lawn mower. Due to the size of the muffler and the material it is made of, multiple welding machines can be used. That's great!
