This product is a godsend for desktop laptop replacement. I use msi gs60 ghost pro as a laptop and gaming pc. I need to connect a keyboard, mouse, HDMI monitor, gigabit ethernet and charge my phone. With this dock, I can do all of that. Windows picks up and installs drivers very quickly. Also, starttech has a great little utility to change monitor output, orientation, etc. Also thanks to starttech rep Gordon for helping me troubleshoot my dock when the fast charge port wasn't working. It turns out that you should always check that the power adapter is fully plugged in. In terms of gaming performance, too, this dock performs flawlessly. I can boot a GTA V on medium settings and an Asus HD monitor at 60fps with no issues and no noticeable input lag (although I'm pretty sure the monitor's response is around tens of milliseconds right now). The reason it works so well is because windows treats the monitor as a normal pnp monitor so it works fine. All in all a great buy for €100. Also, don't spend more money on a display port if you don't need it. In the future I wish there were a few more USB ports, but a good old USB 3.0 hub can't fix anything.
