clapped right and left before buying these doors in my apartment. If the mouse farted in the right direction, the door slammed shut. I was fed up. I've tried bricks, shoes, and various other tools, but to no avail. I stubbed my foot on a brick, tripped over a shoe. Something had to change. I used a google search to find a tool that would "stop the door from slamming". Low and that's how I found these rubber doorstops. I've been doing it wrong my whole life. Thank you, regular rubber doorstops. You are a lifesaver!
