The kettle itself works great. No leaks and perfectly brews k cups. The only complaint is that the lid of the included mug is junk and ripped at the seam within a month. And unfortunately, it's significantly smaller than the usual 3-inch replacement caps that are easy to find. I couldn't find a suitable replacement, but maybe you'll have better luck. Since the height of the mug is limited by the size of the teapot, my husband uses the included mug to brew and then pours into a larger mug to drink. Nothing bad, but still a bit annoying. If you use your own mug 5 inches tall or less I would recommend, but if you prefer larger mugs skip these and find one that suits your preference.
