Review on ๐ŸŒŸ Smartwatch Samsung Galaxy Watch4 with Bluetooth and Monitor Detection by Adisorn Sarakari แ Œ

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Well done, but I wont buy any more.

I have been using Gear s3 frontier for 5 years, I wanted something new, so I chose Watch 4 44mm, not the classic version. In comparison with the frontiers, the screen is much clearer, there are different functions (controlling the Buds + headphones, for example, I donโ€™t take into account any ECG and pressure measurement - itโ€™s funny on the watch, itโ€™s more like just playing around). With normal use, the frontiers lived for 3-4 days or 2 days with an aod, now they confidently hold a day with an aod, no more, and watch 4 - 2 days with an aod (out of the box, I didnโ€™t set anything up). They look great with both casual and business suits. But what killed it was the fullness of the app store and watch faces for watches . On the frontiers in the Samsung store there were hundreds of thousands of watch faces for every taste and with a very convenient search, a lot of applications (though mostly curves, but there were enough regular ones for the eyes). I thought that the android platform is much more popular with developers than Tizen, but no - at best, 50 dials, of which 0 are normal. From applications - Google Pay appeared, but why is it fundamentally better than Samsung Pay (namely on the watch) - a moot point (samsung pem I can pay from the watch even if the phone is not around, I'm not sure about Google). Using google maps (and other maps) on your watch is a good idea if you're not a runner or a cyclist. I really hope that the watch faces and the necessary applications will begin to appear, but so far it looks like not even a step, but a jump back.

Pros
  • Design Nimble Works great in the Samsung ecosystem
Cons
  • Underdevelopment of the Wear OS store
