I am a mother of four and have LOTS of school art around my house. I used to store them in tote boxes but decided to organize them. I was debating between plastic containers and this briefcase and thought I'd give the briefcase a try to save money and SPACE. I am very happy! I took the photos for my eldest, he has finished his drawing class. The portfolio contains ALL the drawings he made at school. It doesn't even feel full. There is no need to waste space on plastic containers as the portfolio only takes up space for the art inside. The zipper isn't the strongest, but we won't wear it anywhere, often open and close (same goes for handles). It'll be in the closet until every kid leaves, then I'll give them their art to do whatever they want. I have photographed each part and will make a photo book so I have a copy (I am sentimental) when they leave the house. The portfolio is large enough to hold art of various sizes from school and years ago. Only time will tell if the paper will rot over time, this is not archival, it is my children's art, not Van Gogh. If you're looking for something that's durable for constant transportation, I think you'll have to pay more (or buy lots of these and replace if something breaks).
