They are just as good as the wool brushes I bought from Tandy. They are soft with no hard parts or dirt stuck in the wool. I've never had a metal end pierced before. They work as expected with my skin dyes. They leave a bit of lint, but nothing that sticks to the skin - I brush it off easily after the paint dries. I've used them with Eco-Flo and Waterstain fiber and pulp dyes. I have no complaints. Great quality, great price and I will be buying them again when I'm done with the current set.
