I like the way this looks on my desk much more than the salt and pepper shakers. The wood is beautiful, the lid slides easily, and the little spoon is perfect for salt and pepper. I wish I could look at the size - I would buy a smaller one if I knew how big it was. It would be better suited for the kitchen, so I can move it there and buy a smaller one for the table. But I recommend this product (it was my fault for not checking the size I bought!)
