Purchased and Fitted to Craftsman Lawnmowers: Engine #143.006200 at 6.5hp Looks and fits absolutely identical to the regular mower carburetor. Includes carburetor and gasket. The gasket goes between the carburettor and the engine mount - be sure to remove the old one! The installation is quite easy. The carburetor is attached to the engine with two bolts/nuts (reused). Other reusable parts include the engine governor spring, two (2) metal levers, and a black plastic air cleaner bracket. Note the connections to the regulator between the stem behind the carburetor (left) and the lever on the engine (right). If necessary, take photos. If you are unsure about assembly, there is a very good YouTube video showing the connections. After replacement, the mower started the first time but ran slowly (just above idle). It turned out that I had unintentionally stretched the spring on the shaft, so I had to shorten it a bit to increase speed. The original equipment carburetor cost about $65. Save your money and buy this one instead.
