Review on KT Optical Headlight Assembly Yamaha Motorcycle & Powersports by Jake Meyer

I hesitated for a long time about buying it, but finally I clicked it and I'm glad I did. It was actually quite easy to install. The wiring harness was very easy to understand but very bulky. Storing all the modules and cables behind the cluster was almost a nightmare. Tip: Dismantle the dashboard and work everything separately from the bike. Then reattach the cluster as a whole to the frame. The ballasts didn't fit behind the cluster, but they did fit on the fairing next to the forks. I installed them above, but I think you could install them below for a cleaner look, although that might be a little tricky. I used the included 3M adhesive which works amazingly well. I only had to extend a wire that went to the battery because I didn't route it by default. Better run it along the gas tank on the moving side of the bike. The fit is perfect and the material quality corresponds to OEM quality. The demon eyes look amazing and the HID lightbulbs are insane. While the range is about what you'd expect, it has a much wider field of view than standard lights and the brightness is incredible. Range is longer than the OEM, but not as impressive as the field of view improvements over stock devices. The built-in turn signal in the daytime running light is the perfect combination of style and safety. All in all this is a great set. The price may seem high, but I think it's worth it. Let's hope that over time everything stays in order. Reliability is unknown but precautions have been taken to keep the kit as waterproof as possible so I don't lose hope. You won't be disappointed with the improved visibility if you frequently drive at night. Daytime drivers can also appreciate the integration of the turn signals with the daytime running lights and the aesthetic feature of the demonic eyes.
