I bought this record player because I was looking for a cheap and attractive entry-level record player. I recommend this player with a few caveats. The device itself has an elegant, subtle wood grain finish. The Clear View dust cover is made of hard plastic. It's very light and beautiful. The player plugs into a regular US outlet or can be plugged into any power source via a USB cable. It's very easy to take it out of the box and start working - just plug it in and go. The sound quality is okay. I would definitely invest in some external speakers with this product. Overall I would recommend this to anyone just starting out with their vinyl collection as an entry level turntable.
