You must remove the silicone from the LED strips to use these

Lots of detail to complement my daughter's LED accents in her room. One thing I didn't understand was how to use these connectors You should cut off some silicone on the LED strip to reveal the connectors. At first I didn't get this and figured I could just cut and trim. This made the installation a bit more difficult, but after the first few connections I got the hang of it. I would recommend finding connectors that are designed to pierce the silicone if you don't want to rip the silicone off and poke your fingernail in to clean it every time you connect it.
