Nice concept, visually interesting, but functionally not quite what I was looking for. The holes are too big and not enough. . I ended up using a screw-on mug filter (GSI H2JO! Water Bottle Coffee/Tea Maker) from my water bottle to filter the tea again. If it was wire mesh it might be better if the leaves didn't get in while adding more flavor to the cup. The saucer is useless. serve a purpose. You're bound to fall on the counter here or there. It's so light and the screen is so heavy it just doesn't work. Too much work to use a plunger. Speaking of "pistons". You need to unscrew the top and bottom, hold the plunger disc in the base by sliding the top out of the way, then insert the tea leaves into the bottom over the disc and screw the top back into the bottom. this is the starting position. I actually had a hard time unscrewing the pieces, but I may have just received one with a tighter fit. Unfortunately, this product will probably sit unused in my kitchen drawer.
