I was hesitant because of the low price but I have an indoor/outdoor cat and to be honest she loses too much collar for my wallet. I KNOW I have to keep putting breakaway parts on it to keep it safe, but sometimes it happens every 3 days or so! The cheapest collars I can find in stores near me are $4.50 each for the most basic. When they arrived it was a pleasant surprise. you are good I might have expected dollar store quality, but no, they are as good as you would buy them at a regular pet store. All the bells had jump rings so they could be easily removed if desired (which I did). You can also attach a tag to the ring that contains the bells if you use tags. Others have mentioned that reflective tape won't last long: yes, I agree it probably won't. Adjusting the collar to my cat's size frayed a little, but not much. Surely he will get more scratches over time. I can't get it to peel yet, but I'm not saying it won't. I don't mind as long as the collar stays. As to others' concerns: The cat buckles on my set had rounded ears, weren't very "narrow," and didn't bother my cat. I put my ears to his back/not his neck/face. I don't think he feels them. The material isn't as smooth as some of the collars I've bought, but it doesn't irritate my skin and my cat doesn't seem to mind. The breakaway buckle doesn't seem particularly weaker or stronger than others I've tested. Due to manufacturing differences, even the same terminals have different voltages. I'm sure my cat can escape if she tries (they definitely won't hang him up) and yet she won't just fall over scratching or anything. After all I spent 3 days without a loss haha. I'm taking off 1 star for the thickness, not because it's thin but because it's thick! I may not be used to a collar like this, but it seems as thick as a dog collar. Maybe I shouldn't shoot the star because I think it's fat, but my cat doesn't seem to care. And I want to emphasize, I don't mean its width. Its width appears to be fairly normal. I mean the material is thick. However, I left the main rating at 5 stars. Again, I was pleasantly surprised at the value for money. I WILL BUY AGAIN!
