First Impression My 6.5 inch speakers in my Eclipse door were worn and torn, anything but speaking on the radio caused crackling. Looking at the replacement options, I could get a regular replacement speaker at an auto parts store for $15, an unnamed retail chain for $30, or two of these for $11 each. I've always been impatient damn it, my last set I bought was $30 6.5 speakers that came in one of those wooden crates. big packing box. So I went to get one out of the box and the other slipped out. The cone is very strong and I can see they will last a long time. The sound output is better than the entry-level speakers in supermarkets. I don't use an aftermarket amp and these speakers sound great. Will definitely be buying another set for my other old cars. They are delivered without screws. So be careful when reusing factory screws as they have large heads and can damage the speaker.
