First measure the holes on the old brackets. These blades are for 52 not a42

I had to buy this because the old blades didn't fit the new mounts I bought, they look nice. Install the rest, this is a 52 inch fan. Measure your fan against the old brackets first, if only to replace the blades. You may need to buy new brackets, the blades are designed for a 52" fan. If you need smaller hole spacing, you will need blades for a 42" fan. Measuring tape works wonders
