My dogs are getting older and needed more support and a more comfy bed to sleep on. These beds are fantastic! I purchased two of these beds for my dogs on August 17. So, I’ve had them now for close to a month. My dogs, going in and out and coming back into the house with dirty feet made these beds get so dirty so fast, so yesterday, I knew it was time to remove the covers and wash them. I was skeptical as to how easy this could be accomplished but I am so very happy with everything about these beds! First, removing the covers was pretty simple and I was so happy to see that the foam is also covered with an additional zippered covered that is made out a material that can be wiped clean and keeps the foam safe from accidents or dirt! I rezipped them closed before washing to protect the zippers from being torn apart in the wash cycle. Next, when I got the covers out of the washer, I was shocked to see that they were stain free and looked like new! I was not sure if the bottoms of the covers could withstand the heat from my dryer so I hung them up outside in the sunshine to dry. Then I thought that getting the covers back on the foam was going to be a chore, but it was actually easier to put the covers back on than it was to remove them! After purchasing and throwing away so many dog beds in the past I am so pleased with these beds! If I ever have a need to replace dog beds again, I will get more of these!
