FINALLY! A drybrush that works as well or better than my old one! I just received it today and couldn't wait to try it out. The reviews showed that the purchase was worth it and it IS. 4 years ago my trusty old Conair drybrush fell apart. Since then I've tried 3 drying combs none of which have worked and I wasn't really hoping to find one that would suit my thick long hair. Well, my hair looks great. BETTER than doing it in the salon. It seems like nobody in the salon listens to me and does my hair *exactly* the way I like it. You don't have to worry about that anymore. I can make it myself again and it looks exactly how I want it to. My hair is slightly frizzy and when air dried it becomes frizzy. And if you don't COMPLETELY dry them in the salon, they'll get frizzy. Don't worry - I dry it until it glides through the stubble like silk and I know it's perfect. The bristles of this comb are great for my hair. Most of the ones I've tried over the years have "hair type bristles" that don't go all the way through my hair and cause real pain. The bristles on it are a combination of hair and hard plastic bristles. Just what you need for thick hair. They work great. I saw several people complaining about the controls. I haven't found this to be a problem for me. . They are in just the perfect spot where I can easily move them from low to high to cool. Anyway, I usually just use heat, but I don't think that's a problem. When I have time I will post a video review. LOVE this product! *COMMENT ADDED* January 15, 2015 still love it! I'm actually buying one for my mom. I'd love to add some before/after photos, but I can't figure out how to do that. This is the only dryer I use and 98% of the time I don't use any mousse or other products other than heat protectant to organize my hair and it's always perfect.
