HomePop, an Online Store, Provides a Disappointing Shopping Experience

As someone who enjoys doing shopping online, I was delighted to test out HomePop in order to get some new pieces of furniture and home decor for my house. Sadly, my experience with their online business left a lot to be desired, and I would not recommend it. To begin, the website loaded at an extremely snail's pace and was impossible to browse. It took me an inordinate amount of time to find what I was looking for, and when I did, the product descriptions lacked the level of depth that I need. Review scores were the only way for me to gain a clearer picture of the product I was about to purchase. When my products did finally come, I discovered that the quality had not met my expectations. The pieces of furniture gave off an impression of being inexpensive and badly manufactured, and the shipping process appeared to have caused several of the home decor items to sustain damage. Things were made much more difficult by the fact that their customer service was unhelpful and impossible to reach. It took me several tries before I received a response, and even after they did, they were unable to handle my problems to my satisfaction. The entirety of my time spent with HomePop was less than satisfying. I would not recommend investing your time and money on this one given the abundance of other online businesses that sell home decor and furniture that are now available.

Pros
  • Furniture and home decor that is both fashionable and stylish.
Cons
  • Navigation on the website is sluggish and cumbersome.
