It was a nightmare for me to run. There is not enough information to fix this skimmer. I had to go online to blogging sites to find out why the skimmer kept overflowing when I plugged it in. In the end I had to remove the knee in the overflow. For $204 I don't think you need to modify this skimmer to make it work properly. This skimmer is considered one of the best, 3 days have passed and the skimmer has not yet been removed. I know there is a break in the period, but there has to be a rest. The size is awkward to manage when you need to take it off to inspect something. So far I'm not happy
