Waste of money: tools and equipment

Only used once on circuit 35 and need to find another circuit breaker. Had high hopes for the all in one kit but was disappointed and kept looking for a better kit.

Not what I expected

This can be an easy tool if you have some experience. I already broke one of the pins. It would be nice if you could get additional pins with the tool. Also, with an extra pair of hands and eyes, it is easy to operate.

Not the most durable.

Bought for my 525 chain. Took some advice and first ground the rivet heads, knocked out the old pin, no worries. Did the same to remove the links on the new chain, hostile. There are no problems there either. However, the rivet pin on my last torch broke. Not a very durable tool for the price. I think I could get better at HF.

Complete Scrap - DO NOT buy

This product is scrap, two chain link ejector pins broke immediately after moderate force was applied. I used a grinder to grind down the rivet heads and then used this tool to push out the pins with the last and largest pin insert. When I tried to loosen the rivets, the threads on the tool broke before I could unroll the heads of the main link pins - even moderately. Complete rubbish - stay away from this rubbish!

Cheap! That does not work!

DO NOT buy! This product is pointless and cheap! The thread on the screw was torn off right out of the packaging. I can insert and extend the bolt without turning it. Threads and bolts are the most important thing in this tool and they can't even make sure it's right. Very disappointed. I'm running all over town trying to find another one and nobody's wearing it. Just spend a little more money and buy a good one, it will save you time and you still have to buy another one.

Save time and money by buying something really good

Waste of money (and maybe more importantly time as you'll probably need something else in the middle of work) on this piece of junk. Most of the torch (coincidentally the one I need for my 520 chain) doesn't even come close to fitting in the tool, making it completely useless for riveting. Even the ones that fit are so tight that you kind of have to squeeze them to pull them out (the spring was supposed to be for decoration or something). Really handy tool. If it was durable, that is.

I removed the pin from my 530 chain to the point of being unable to turn it. The pin needed to be pushed out a bit, so I just pulled it out with pliers and really tightened. Then when I went to size up and install my new chain, I couldn't get the pin out of the tool so I could use the headpin. I tried everything to get the damn thing out and no matter what I tried it never came out. After about an hour of fighting I grabbed a hammer and it just broke INSIDE THE DAMN THING. It never came out, so
