I removed the pin from my 530 chain to the point of being unable to turn it. The pin needed to be pushed out a bit, so I just pulled it out with pliers and really tightened. Then when I went to size up and install my new chain, I couldn't get the pin out of the tool so I could use the headpin. I tried everything to get the damn thing out and no matter what I tried it never came out. After about an hour of fighting I grabbed a hammer and it just broke INSIDE THE DAMN THING. It never came out, so now the whole tool itself is completely useless. The little spring inside is also completely useless and to be honest I think it caused the pin to get stuck inside instead of pushing it back out after use. I wouldn't be so upset if the pin just popped out so I could keep using the rest of the kit, but instead it messed up the ENTIRE kit and made it so useless. This is very frustrating.
