Review on CTA Tools 8240 Universal Rethreading by Donald Manipole

I bought this set based on other reviews I read and am happy with it. I restore a lot of old equipment and work on cars so much that I needed a replacement thread kit in my tool box. I used to use wire wheels and brushes to clean threads as best I could, but this method never repaired damaged threads. I just received this set last week and am surprised I got this far without it. I'm restoring some 50+ year old sheet metal machines and once I've screwed in all the threads the build is much more satisfying. Event. Takes up very little space in my tool box. I really like the file recovery theme. I didn't know such a product existed. Very convenient. Of course you can find a cheaper imported kit that will do the job. But I've never had, and never will have, a problem paying for American quality.
