I bought a few to make chargers for marine and outdoor batteries. Easy to set up and seems to work well. The instructions are a bit abstruse, but not difficult to decipher once you understand the basics of solar wiring. I left one in a boat on the lake all season and paralleled a cheap maintenance port solar panel as the solar power source and a couple of used AGM batteries I bought. Thanks to this, the boat was ready for use and the batteries were charged all year round. Not bad for the price but not heavy. I haven't had any issues with the low amp charger, but if I were going to use a high amp array I'd probably choose something more reliable. in the summer on car trips and there were no problems. If she can't break it, it should survive most basic uses!
