Description of 🔆 EEEKit 20A Solar Charge Controller - Intelligent Regulator with Dual USB Port, LCD Display - 12V/24V PWM Auto Parameter Adjustable - Blue

【20A Solar Charge controller】20A Solar Panel Battery Intelligent Regulator are UL 1741 certified, the solar charger controller compatibility with 12V 24V system. Discharge Current: 10A, build-in industrial microcontroller, automatically manage the working of solar panel and battery in solar system. Dual USB output 5V/2.5A (max), to support mobile phone charging. 【Six Protection Functions】20A solar controller has Short-circuit protection, Overload protection, Over Current Protection, Overcharge protection, Under-voltage protection, Over-voltage protection. Fully 3-stage PWM charge management, improve system efficiency and prolong the life span of the battery. 【Battery Type】The charge regulator is only suitable for lead-acid batteries: OPEN, AGM, GEL, it is not suited for nickel hydride, lithium, Liions, or other batteries. In order to protect the lifespan of the battery, once the voltage of the battery drop below 8V, the solar controller will turn off automatically. 【Functional LCD Display】Intuitive LCD display that can clearly indicate the status and data is able to switch modes and parameter configuration, suitable for home, industrial, commercial, etc. 【Easy to Use】The charge controller should connect the battery first, then the solar panel, finally the load. The disassembly sequence is contrary to the wiring order. Dual Mosfet Reverse current protection, low heat production. Note: The charge controller will heat up when it is running. Please be careful to install the charger controller in a flat, well-ventilated place.

Works well 18Ah GM battery charger

I built a bathroom in a closet but it has no windows. It is very dark when the lights are off, especially when the person is taking a shower and the electricity is out. I have two 12V 100Amp solar panels so I bought this charger to charge an 18Ah GM battery which powers two 12V wheeled ceiling lights (one in the bathroom and one in the dark hallway leading to the garage). The backlight stays on day and night, at least until the battery voltage drops to the set level. Now we don't have to worry…

Pros
  • Battery type
Cons
  • Out of style

I think it's ok but I had problems

I tried two different solar panels. It seems to work fine but I'm not sure. I bought it to replace a basic charger for an alarm system, but I'm pretty sure the first solar panel I used it with blew up (it was small and over 10 years old). I just installed it with a new one. Let's see how it works. The problem I'm having with this controller has to do with the terminals that the wires screw into. There is no support behind the board and if you use some force to tighten the screws, the board will

Great little inexpensive charge controller.

I bought a few to make chargers for marine and outdoor batteries. Easy to set up and seems to work well. The instructions are a bit abstruse, but not difficult to decipher once you understand the basics of solar wiring. I left one in a boat on the lake all season and paralleled a cheap maintenance port solar panel as the solar power source and a couple of used AGM batteries I bought. Thanks to this, the boat was ready for use and the batteries were charged all year round. Not bad for the price…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • So far so good
