Review on ๐Ÿ”ช BESWOOD220 - 9" Premium Electric Deli Meat Cheese Food Slicer: Chromium-plated Steel Blade for Commercial and Home Use, 240W by Tammy Marie

If I loved him more, I should have married him!

This is the slicer I was looking for! Despite being half the size of a real restaurant or industrial appliance, it is by far a much better and more durable alternative to most "household class" appliances available. It is precise and easy to cut and runs silently. It even has a built in sharpener that's easy to use and keeps the blade at peak performance. I'm the type who wants roast beef, corned beef, pork, and cured sausage thin, thin, thin for sandwiches. There's nothing worse than biting into a sandwich and instantly all the meat slips out, right? Even the most complex cuts are much easier to handle. Needless to say, you can handle fruits and veggies. I haven't tried cheese yet, but I don't see a big problem with it. Some tips and precautions: 1. You MUST purchase and wear cut resistant gloves when removing or replacing a cleaning blade. (The working word here is "quiet.") The blade MUST have your full attention when detaching it from the tool. Always remember where the blade is outside of the device! A simple hit, touch or fall can be very dangerous. Try to find gloves that fit snugly so the material doesn't slip off your fingers during use. 2. Thoroughly clean the device after each use. With minimal practice, disassembly, cleaning and reassembly can be completed in under 30 minutes. While there are people who say you can clean the device without removing the blade, I'm not one of them. I suggest you fully clean the device without removing the blade, and then take it off and see what you missed. (Eww!) 3. Smear! You'll be surprised how much dust and dirt can accumulate on two work sleds over time. Before use, wipe the sliders with a clean cloth, then apply a small amount of food-grade lubricant and move the sliders back and forth several times. Do this conscientiously and you will use less force when cutting and you will not slide the device on the counter during operation.4. That is hard! This is not an easy bake, my friends. It is a precise instrument, well made and durable. While this isn't too much, it can be quite cumbersome for a person of smaller stature to move around. Before you buy, be sure to consider the weight and decide how and where it will "fitโ€ into your kitchen dynamics. Ready! all i have I hope this helps you make a more informed decision.
