Review on WAVLINK USB 2 by Daniel Shivashankar

I bought this to replace a NAS 2 drive system that was too unreliable. I wanted two bays as I had 2 2TB drives. Setup was complicated by the fact that the NAS format was not recognized by my Windows machine. The instructions that came with the device helped me format it. The drive works well and even goes to sleep mode automatically. I can simply unmount the drive and replace one drive with the old spare drive. The cloning feature works and creates an exact copy of the original hard drive, albeit slowly. I didn't test the transfer speed as it seemed acceptable to me. Much faster than my NAS. The extra USB ports come in very handy for me as I have a Surface Pro with limited USB ports. he is on the table.
