IΒ³'m satisfied with the product, itΒ³'s well made and the price is also satisfying.

Arranged everything except the Armory Crate program to configure the mouse (hereinafter referred to as "AC"). I don't know how ASUS could make such terrible software. I have almost top-end hardware of 2022 and a clean system, but AC errors and freezes started already at the installation phase. Downloaded from the official site, of course. At first, the computer hung tightly, then it began to ask to remove the previous versions of the program (which were not even installed, since the installation crashed). After some dancing with a tambourine, AC, nevertheless, was established. By the way, it took longer to install than Hogwarts Legacy 3 times. Together with the AS, 9 more (!) incomprehensible utilities, ate and licensing servers, and who knows what else from the craftsmen from ASUS appeared in the list of programs, almost each of which successfully took its place in the list of active background processes in the system. Each time you try to adjust dpi, macro or backlight, you wait 15 minutes until all this digital fraternity is ated (with a system reboot) or checks for ates. Another ate killed my WiFi module. To prohibit the program from any background activity, the script for resetting the mouse settings worked, not even to factory settings, but simply to random ones. I had to set everything up again, turn off the mouse, remove the AC and reconnect it - so the settings were saved. Even after removing the software, asus processes still got out in the background (except for the mouse, I don’t have any iron from them). ASUS rewrote the registry, got into the scheduler and startup, created files in every system folder, including hidden ones, from where it continued to tyrannize my computer. After half an hour of fighting with self-starting processes, I finally deleted the last ASUS folder and cleaned the registry. WiFi stopped falling off. I use the mouse in the last configured configuration, fortunately, at least the sensitivity can be adjusted without a program. I hope that ASUS will soon release a more convenient and portable solution for customizing their products, because Armory Crate now looks more like a virus than a useful program.

Pros
  • Appearance and build quality, sensitivity adjustment without installing programs, excellent glide and lightness. The charge holds for a very long time.
Cons
  • The ASUS Armory Crate software, for setting up macros and highlighting, is completely unusable and clogs the entire system from background processes to the registry. Also, it is a pity that the backlight cannot be adjusted from a separate button on the mouse.
