Review on πŸ’¨ ASUS ROG Keris Wireless Gaming Mouse - Lightweight Design with 16,000 DPI Sensor, Replaceable Switch Sockets, Customizable Side Buttons, ROG Omni Mouse Feet, Paracord Cable, and Aura Sync RGB Lighting by Xavier Xavier ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best thing I have ever used, highly recommended!

In general, the mouse solves all my tasks, not ideally as I wanted, but tolerable. A great option for those who work on a laptop and play at the hospital in the evening, as the mouse allows you to easily switch and in wired mode gives good accuracy. I compared this mouse with Gladius III and Logitech G603: Gladius did not like the rubber holes along the edges, which will be clogged with dirt, and Logitech did not have a wired mode. Despite all the disadvantages, I put 5 stars, because I bought this mouse for 5819r on aliexpress, and there are no analogues with such functionality for a similar price.

Pros
  • + The quality of the plastic and the absence of cracks in which dirt can clog. + Ability to easily switch between 2.4 and Bluetooth and wire (more on that below). Very handy when switching from a work computer to your own. + USB-C, as for me, this is a plus, and the closest competitors are still on micro-usb. + The wire is very soft and light, so it does not get in the way. + Excellent sliding legs. + Ability to replace switches! Although the factory declared resource is 70 million clicks. + The quality of communication on the receiver and bluetooth is quite good, I did not notice any lags. + Good response and tactile sensations in general.
Cons
  • - Setting the backlight only through proprietary software (and it's terrible). The mouse does not remember the settings, it is enough to connect it to another computer and it will again change all colors in a circle. To set your own mode or turn it off altogether, each time you have to go into the program and set your own preset. With backlighting, everything is sad, if this is important to you, then consider it. - I was hoping that I could charge the mouse from anything and continue to use it wirelessly (with a working computer). But there is no separate switch for wired mode. That is, if the cable is connected, then the wired mode automatically turns on. In general, those who use a mouse with one computer will not notice this, but in my case it was a little frustrating. - The charge indicator . It's not there, at least you can't recognize it on the mouse, when connected via bluetooth you can see it on the computer, but with a very rough gradation of 25%. When connected to the receiver, it does not recognize it at all. Therefore, to make sure I leave the mouse on the wire at night every day. - When switching between the receiver and bluetooth, dpi changes, and you have to change the sensitivity either on the mouse or on the computer.
