Review on High-Performance MOOG RK80308 Control Arm with Ball Joint Assembly for Superior Suspension Control by Matt Lewis

You need CK series parts, NOT RK series parts.

I bought this and RK80306 thinking I was going to buy MOOG parts. These are actual Moog approved OEM parts. I noticed this because the left and right upper wishbones were different. I called MOOG and they explained that if you want original MOOG parts you need to buy CK80306 and CK80308. I ended up buying CK series parts from a parts store here in town and the difference is day and night. The RK series ball joint was easy to move, and one of these was without a castellated nut, unlubricated and dry. Matching CK Series parts came with extremely durable ball joints lubricated with the included grease fitting, castle nut and cotter pin. Of course, the CK series is more expensive, but I would buy a CK any day of the week compared to the RK series.
