Works out of the box in Windows 10 and Android.

I had doubts about this job. However, I inserted a Kingston 8GB micro SD card into the SD adapter, copied an m4v movie from my PC's USB port, inserted it into my Galaxy S7 Edge and the movie played flawlessly. I also tried this on an older Droid Mini running Android 4.4. It also worked fine (VLC player). The main goal here was to transfer photos from my phone to the tablet, which I use as a trip computer. Also from a digital camera to the same. I prefer to use a micro SD in the SD adapter in the camera because then I can copy files any way I want (micro or normal). I had no doubt that this would work with a full-size USB 2 port, but the fact that it works on both Android N and Android Kit Kat was unexpected. Drivers are not required. Connect and be recognized in File Manager (or My Files on newer versions of Android). This article definitely belongs in a travel bag. Watch movies on the go on the plane, copy and download images from a dedicated camera to the cloud. Experience has shown that don't rely on your camera's SD card to store lots of photos, videos, etc. until you get home. Usually everything is fine, but when things get bad, you will lose at least something or even everything. Copy them and even upload them to the cloud on the go.
