Review on Strong Hand Tools Magnetic Magnets by Brandon Woodson
They work well but won't hold 40 pounds.
I use magnetic L-brackets to hold the steel to the inside of the frame of a GMC '48 pickup. I'm boxing for power after a V8 conversion. They say 40 pounds. Holding power, I'm talking 20-25 pounds, is still better than nothing when trying to model a project.
Pros
- Use the mounting holes to attach two magnets together and use as fasteners.
