just what I was looking for

These are easy to install and even easier to wire. I cut a circle in the center of the ceiling tile and attached the disk like bulb. The box is screwed to the joist approximately above the hole. There's enough cable to be close without having to be exact.I'm using them with a dimmer, it would be nice to have a lower dimmer setting, but it does control well

Pros

Use the template, nice snug fit, very easy to wire & you can connect several together

Cons

The light can only be dimmed with specific dimmer switches
