To be honest, most of the dishes in my house are washed in my dishwasher. I don't usually keep dishwashing sponges, just a brush to clean the plates. Well, the brush lost its place (still don't know how, but that's another story lol) and the dishwasher didn't fully clean the dishes. I reached for these sponges to fill them up until I found a brush (that's it for now) and they worked great for cleaning dishes! I didn't need them for the dishes before, I used them as cleaning sponges. The only problem I've found is that they're not very effective against anything that's REALLY stuck, but I don't know many dishwashing sponges that 🤷🏼‍♀️
