This alarm clock is very easy to set up. It even had little stickers you could put on the side of the lamp to help you navigate the buttons before you get used to the layout. Pleasantly surprised by the sound options for the alarm clock. Not your typical beep-beep-beep (but an option if needed!) I love the warm tones of "Sunrise" and "Sunset". The volume is at a good level and if necessary there is an opportunity to reduce or increase it. I'm guessing that it uses a watch battery type to insure against a power failure without having to reset it. I don't use FM radio yet, but I've tried. Stations will sound clear when tuned to something you know works locally. I can say goodbye to iPhone alarms and completely rely on them! You can also set the brightness of the time that will be on all the time if you don't like the brightness and even just don't see it if it bothers you at night. It includes 2 separate alarms that you can set if needed. And as always, it includes a snooze button. My awakening experience has changed forever.
