This set would have received more stars if only the blades had been tested. However, since the set includes incredibly cheap knife handles, I feel generous in giving this one ONE star. A cheap utility knife wouldn't be safe even if it arrived working, but the slide switch was shattered and snapped in half before I could remove the blade. The carving at the head of the exact knife barely holds the blade in place, and the cap barely stays on the sheathed blade. The small healing mat is only for making greeting cards and small crafts.
