I used my last torque wrench and it lasted 40 years. I stepped on the gauge and there is no easy way to put it back on. It was spot welded. I only change my family's tires twice a year, swapping summer and winter tires, so I only need 90 ft-lbs. I used this on my machine today and it worked fine. I only use 1/2" sockets. If all you do is change tires at home, why spend money on a power wrench or ratchet wrench, especially since you know these new "features" will get you well before they expire Will fail in 40 years? For accuracy if I can make it within 10 ft-lbs I'm happy Seems as well done as my original masters If I have another 20 years of this I'll be happy.
